Mistakes in official Release Notes

• “The cursor may change … (bug 736811)” is WORKSFORME since 2014-11-27 (User NoOp told so on mozilla.dev.apps.seamonkey)

New features

Emails get lost when time shift sending with Send Later add-on

With my Server-Installation of unofficial (by FRG) en-US SeaMonkey 2.50a1 (NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build 20161211141438 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit I observe some problems with Send-Later-Addon. First my suspect was that there only is a problem that time shift sent emails will not become copied into Sent Folder; works fine if I use [Send Now] for sending immediately. But the problem seems to be more serious, today all my time shift test emails did not reach sender, they are lost. Currently I can’t tell whether the problem only affects time shift sending or whether there is a deeper problem in the send process.

I did my tests only with a POP3 email account.

As long as there is no real knowledge concerning the circumstances I recommend not to use those latest Trunk builds for sending (important) Emails.

New unofficial localized nightly SeaMonkey 2.47 “Release”-builds for MAC available for download

Adrian Kalla contributes his first unofficial MAC-build — great!

For your tests please consider that this Build might contain several Regressions compared to SeaMonkey 2.40!

Only for testing, you will use those builds on your own risk. I recommend to create a backup of your user profile before you start testing those builds. Please consider that it even might be impossible to use an existing User Profile after downgrade to an earlier SeaMonkey version if you have used that Profile with a Nightly.

AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey: Versions update

After a minimum test (installs on Server-Installation of unofficial (by FRG) en-US SeaMonkey 2.50a1 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build 20161127221846 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit, converts CoLT (compatible after conversion due to compatibility list), CoLT passed some tests without problems) I extended compatible SeaMonkey version range for AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey 0.9.15 to SeaMonkey 2.22 … 2.50.*.

New unofficial localized nightly SeaMonkey 2.48 (“Beta”) and 2.49 (“Aurora”)-builds available for download

Adrian Kalla again contributed lots of unofficial English and localized   installers and language packs in various languages for WINDOWS (32 bit and 64 bit) and Linux (32 bit and 64 bit). Please select required download-folder for your  OS:

Please do tests with these builds, but be careful, backup your user profile before you start with testing.
