AMO-Browsing-Add-On is available, works fine and is a great relief for everybody who uses add-ons which are not compatible for SeaMonkey from the scratch.
But still some work needs to be done:
Bug 1130390 Add a link to the Firefox & Thunderbird Add-on Converter for SeaMonkey
Outdated?
Bug 1139273 Search Addons will not show most plausible hits
Probably not a SeaMonkey bug
Bug 1145026 AMO Add-On-Descriptions: Add link function leading to SeaMonkey add-on-converter and filling URL input pane
fixed
Bug 1150912 AMO: Wrong Seamonkey incompatibility hint
Only a problem as long as Browsing tool not bundled
Bug 1151227 Add-on Manager discovery pane: add Banner with link to Add-on-converter
I doubt that that will be possible for an add-on which is not listed on AMO
Bug 1162374 Impossible to download particular add-on versions from AMO with non-Firefox browser
Bug 1162864 Add-on find results from speech balloon not found in final search results
AMO problem, but might hinder unexperienced users to find their required add-on
Bug 1178164 Mention “Firefox & Thunderbird Add-on Converter for SeaMonkey”
Bug 1206519 SeaMonkey Release Notes: Mention Add-on-Converter and “AMO browsing for SeaMonkey”
Bug 1230722 “AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey”-add-on into SeaMonkey release bundle
IMHO the most important one
Bug 1249072 Add-On-Converter: Add feedback function!
Enhancement request
and
Bug 1143276 Repository with Add-Ons converted for SeaMonkey might be required
I doubt that we need this generally, but for some particular add-ons (see Bug 1162374) that might be useful
Any ideas how we can accelerate progress here?
